University of Delhi Hiring of 267 Asst. Professors; Application Deadline Further Extends to 24 Dec
New Delhi, 13 December 2021: University of Delhi (DU), a Central University, has further extended the deadline of application portal for recruitment of Assistant Professors. The total number of vacant posts are 267 in various departments.
The application portal has opened from 01 November 2021. Earlier the closing date of application portal had been extended to 07 December 2021. Now the application portal has been further extended to 24 December 2021.
The UGC has extended the date of applicability of PhD as mandatory qualification for direct recruitment of Assistant Professors from 01 July 2021 to 01 July 2023.
Accordingly, PhD will not be a mandatory qualification for this advertisement.
University of Delhi (DU) has released the employment notice yesterday (24 September 2021) on its official website under Advt. No. Estab. IV/291/2021 dated 20.09.2021. Earlier the total number vacant posts were 251. Then in an addendum notice, the vacant posts have hiked to 267 posts.
